Hey, everyone! My name is Birdie, and I am the Marketing Coordinator for Las Vegas New Mexico’s Art & Cultural District. I’m going to have some fun in this blog. Marketing is NOT boring, contrary to popular belief!

I plan on telling the stories of selling a small rural New Mexican town to its own citizens, to unsuspecting tourists. Part of the reason for this blog is the Big T… Transparency. I want to be sure that local businesses, artists, and residents see all of the hard work behind the scenes.

I love Las Vegas, New Mexico, more than I’ve loved any other town on this planet.

This blog is definitely NOT a drama free zone! Please feel free to comment with your gripes, complaints, ideas, thoughts, and good feelings, too! I only have two rules here: Use your name, and keep it PG-rated. Violators will walk the plank!
